Definition Hydrostatic lubrication systems belong in the field of centralized circulating lubrication systems. The aim of each lube routine is to build up a film of lubricant between the friction surfaces in order to prevent wear. In ideal states of lubrication, the friction surfaces are completely separated from each other by a film of lubricant.
