Arathi Highlands Arathi Highlands is one of the best places to farm Iron Ore. There are 4 caves marked with red circles on the map, make sure to go all the way to the end of each cave because you won't see all the mining veins from the entrance.

There is also some Mithril in the Arathi Highlands, but it’s more in the south. So, if you are purely focusing on Iron Ore, you should skip the southern route in the picture.
